Softball Tournament

All games will be played at the former "Sport2Sport" complex at 5200 Clinton Parkway (Just before Clinton Lake).

This will be a triple-elimination event with each team guaranteed at least three games (two in the morning and one in the afternoon). There will be two pools of 4 teams each. Four teams will get to play 4 games and the two finalists will get to play 5 games! The top teams from each pool will advance to the single elimination tourney starting at 4:45 with the finals at 6 p.m.

We'll use both fields ("This Field" and "That Field")

Lawrence Park and Rec Adult Men's Softball rules (class A) will apply (www.lprd.org) with the exception of softball requirements. The "hit your own ball rule will apply and each time is responsible for bringing a minimum of 3 of their own softballs per game. Certified umpires will work the games.

Rest rooms and concessions will be available.

Entry fee: $200 per team Each team entered will receive 15 complimentary tickets that have $100 value of coupons and that will be entered into the drawing for prizes!)

Home Run Derby

There will be 3 one-hour home run derby competitions and a "championship" derby between the two adult winners just before the championship game at 6 p.m.

Two adult derbies (no age limit) will be at 1 and 2:15 p.m. "Kid's Derby" (ages 12 and under) will be at 6 p.m.

All competitions will be played at the former "Sport2Sport" complex at 5200 Clinton Parkway (Just before Clinton Lake).

Home run derbies will be on "That Field."

Derbys will be at Noon, 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6 p.m., and 7 p.m.

Rest rooms and concessions will be available.

Entry fee: $25 per person Each derby participant must have a $20 event coupon (which has over $100 value in coupons and which will be entered in the drawings for prizes!) and pay an additional $5. Home run derby winners will receive an additional prize!
