What is  s p l a t  all about?

This experiment has come about recently.  A few of us at HCC wanted a platform to discuss how our Christian faith interacts with the realities of our world--poverty, politics, music and the arts, social injustice, vocation, family, community, education, and the list goes on.  So we thought this might work.   We want to grow as people and as Christ-followers as we attempt to reconcile our faith with what happens our "real" worlds.

Disclaimer:  We at HCC do not endorse all the opinions and material in the recommended articles and art.  We believe that in order to be seekers of truth,

we need to expose ourselves to and consider ideas that might be contrary to our position.  At the same time, each article and artist has been chosen because

we believe it contains something redemptive.   For more information on the values and beliefs of HCC see our Mission, C10 values, and Statement of Faith.
